TXin means to provide antioxidants for improved health

The major culprit of aging and disease is due to oxidative stress. Free radicals are generated by our cells as part of the biochemical processes in generating energy for use. These radicals are reactive chemicals that can lead to cell and DNA damage in which we call oxidative stress.

Our bodies generate antioxidants to prevent damage from these free radicals. In normal circumstances, there is a balanced equilibrium between free radicals and antioxidants. However, several factors such as poor diet, stress, old age, infections and autoimmune diseases will tip the delicate balance and lead to inflammation.
